You need to have an OpenID to use the messaging app. You may already have an OpenID.

For example if you have an account in

• AOL, it is openid.aol.com/screenname
• LiveJournal, it is username.livejournal.com
• Wordpress, it is username.wordpress.com

If you have a Yahoo account, you need to first enable your account. Please follow the instructions at openid.yahoo.com. You can customize your OpenID to a human friendly name, instead of a numerical string.

If you do not have an account at any of these sites, our recommendation is to open a new account in Symantec's Personal Identity provider.
